Interests:
|
My computing interests include FreeBSD, Qmail and LDAP. I am actively involved
in contributing software to the ezmlm mailing list manager
project, and am interested in the integration of legacy
systems with the world wide web. I am actively involved
in the provisioning of low-cost computer
facilities to schools with a disadvantaged
background. I am also a CPAN
Contributor.

|
Software Development:
|
Invision Board
NNTP Gateway (2002 - present)
Scrabble client (2002)
- A Windows based Scrabble client interfacing to a public
domain Scrabble server, allowing users to play Scrabble over
the Internet.
Fault
tracking system (2000)
- A web based system for tracking hardware faults
in PC public labs at Rhodes University
help
tracker (1999 - 2000)
- A round-robin based support tracking system for Qmail, with full support for
message tracking, threading and anonymisation.
ezmlm-web
(1998 - present)
- web interface for the ezmlm mailing list manager.
Coupled with this is a Mail::Ezmlm
Perl module that has been released on CPAN.
The list above contains software that I have written and
released in the public domain (mostly open source) over the
last few years. It doesn't include the many Perl, PHP, and
sh scripts I've written to make my tasks as a sysadmin
easier, code that was developed as part of my job, academic work,
or any of the web pages and web applications that I've been
involved in developing.
