other stuff

I've written some papers for various conferences.

I got bored in July 2002 and wrote a scrabble client. I wrote bits of the server too. Network scrabble it fun.

I got bored again in November 2002 (damn MSc thesis!) and wrote a NNTP gateway to Invision Board. Some plonker installed this at 'varsity and people actually started using it. The interface irritated me. Usenet forever. Die web forums die.

I wrote my MSc thesis in DocBook. Its great. I recommend it!
